Adequan®/USDF Final Year-End Awards

The score correction reporting period closes, as of October 15, 2008. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.

Although USDF employs best practices to ensure that the scores are recorded correctly and calculations are accurate on the Web site and elsewhere, USDF assumes no liability to anyone for any errors, omissions or changes.

As we are limiting the number of awards being presented at the Awards Banquet, please see below for the number of placings we will be presenting at the Awards Banquet in each award category.

Awards Being Presented at the Awards Banquet:

  • Top 5 for: Dressage Horse of the Year, Dressage Sport Horse Breeding Horse of the Year, Materiale Horse of the Year, Junior/Young Rider (Training - Prix St. Georges), Vintage Cup, Adult Amateur, Musical Freestyle
  • Top 3 for: Junior/Young Rider (Intermediate I - Grand Prix), FEI Five-year-old, FEI Six-year-old, Pas de Deux, USEF Four-year-old
  • Top 2 for: All-Breeds (Open division all levels, and other divisions and levels as determined by Participating Organizations) and Breeder of the year.
  • Top 1 for: Musical Freestyle Challenge

2008 Adequan/USDF Annual Convention

The awards banquet will be held Saturday evening December 6, 2008.

If you plan on receiving your award at the convention, you must register for the event by going online AND you must also notify USDF award's staff directly (PDF) that you will be attending in order for USDF to have your award available for you to receive that evening. Only the owner and/or rider will be allowed to accept awards-no exceptions.

If you plan to attend the awards banquet, you MUST notify the USDF by November 7, 2008. If you do not return the banquet reply form by November 7, 2008 the USDF will ship your awards in December to the address we have on file.

Photographs for the USDF Connection

The Yearbook issue of the USDF Connection will highlight some of the 2008 award winners. Due to limited space, only photos from first placed award recipients from each award category and level or division will be considered.

Starting in 2008 USDF will ONLY accept digital files for submissions to the USDF Connection Yearbook issue. Any hard copy photos will not be used or returned. The photo release form, an interactive electronic PDF and can be filled out on your computer and MUST accompany your photo file in an e-mail sent to yearbook@usdf.org. Please make sure to save a copy on your computer for your records. If the photo was taken by a professional please fill out your portion of the form and forward it on to the photographer. The photographer will then fill out the rest of the form and send it and the photo to USDF.
