Delaware, Ohio (May 5, 2009) – US High Performance rider, George Williams, and Elizabeth B. Juliano (Betsy) are pleased to announce the formation of a new venture between Juliano's Havensafe Farm (Middlefield, Ohio and Wellington, Florida) and Williams Dressage, LLC.

George Williams, following years of successful competition at the national level, garnered international attention and respect with the recently retired black Westfalen mare, Rocher. Together they set records at Dressage at Devon and brought crowds in both the US and Europe to their feet, bringing tears to the eyes of many who watched. Williams represented the United States both at the 2003 World Cup in Sweden, placing 5th   and at the Hickstead European Championships placing in the top 10. He also rode on the US bronze medal Nations Cup Team in Aachen Germany in 2005. Williams is a much sought after clinician, with coaching credits including four NAJYRC individual medalists and numerous team medalists in his resume. A frequent contributor to dressage magazines, Williams is recognized for his dedication to giving back to the dressage community through his involvement with the USEF and USDF. He is Chair of the USEF High Performance Committee and Vice President of the USDF.

After several years of a successful trainer/student association, Williams will continue to train and coach Juliano and as well as train and compete the international prospects which she owns.  In addition to the association with Juliano and Havensafe Farm, Williams is launching Williams Dressage LLC, a dressage training, coaching and riding venture.

Havensafe Farm South is the former Centaur Farm in Palm Beach Little Ranches.  Betsy Juliano, a successful entrepreneur and lifelong dressage enthusiast, purchased the secluded property in 2007, adding a cover to one of the arenas and installing RISO 2000 footing in both arenas as well as the lunge area. Juliano says, "I fell in love with the farm in 2007, when I first came to Florida to train with George.  It is a shady and quiet spot, with a historic ‘Old Florida' feel that is relaxing for both horse and rider."  Juliano adds, "I was drawn to George because of his soft, sympathetic riding style and Classical background."

Williams and his family will keep on working with clients and horses both in training and competition.  Williams said "Unlike Havensafe Farm South, which is a facility with many stalls and is equipped to handle seasonal boarders, Betsy's Ohio farm is her private sanctuary. Our new venture will allow me to train her there, which I enjoy and, through Williams Dressage, work with other clients and horses in training and competition at a separate facility. This has long been a goal for me and my family, and we are looking forward to finally opening this chapter in our lives."

Williams further stated, "I'm excited about the prospect of working with Betsy and her horses. Betsy has several wonderful horses in her stable and I am thrilled to have this chance to pursue this endeavor. At the same time, I am pleased that my family and I will have the opportunity to develop our own business, working together coaching and training students. Our new venture will allow us to maintain our involvement in giving back to the sport that has provided us with so much enjoyment and is so much a part of our lives.  For me, this is the best of both worlds."
