Bragdell and Custer to Present at the 2025 USDF Sport Horse Prospect Development Forum
Lexington, KY (March 4, 2025) – The Unted States Dressage Federation™ (USDF) is pleased to announce Michael Bragdell and Lehua Custer as instructors for the 2025 USDF Sport Horse Prospect Development Forum, to be held June 28-29 at Hilltop Farm, in Colora, MD. This year's event will, again, feature a live forum approach and provide a correct, fundamental system for starting dressage sport horse prospects. Additionally, focused sessions for young professionals will be a new aspect incorporated into this year's forum.
The program is intended for trainers, owners, and breeders nationwide, with the goal of developing a consistent training foundation for all sport horse prospects as they progress from in-hand to under saddle and, eventually, to competition. Participants and auditors will learn helpful tools for evaluating and training sport horse prospects. Special attention will be given to helping young equine professionals navigate the world of starting and training dressage horse prospects and will give them an opportunity to meet and network with others in the industry.
"This program, launched in 2013, is designed to provide a consistent educational program for starting young dressage prospects. We greatly appreciate Hilltop Farms for offering to host this year’s forum, and we look forward to a great weekend with Michael Bragdell and Lehua Custer," stated Kristi Wysocki, chair of the USDF Sport Horse Committee.
