Planning Committee

Mission

The Planning Committee will provide advice to the Executive Board on planning for USDF's future.

Reporting

The Planning Committee will report its findings and recommendations to the Executive Board.

Goals

1. To help USDF fulfill its mission of providing education, recognizing achievement, and promoting the sport of dressage.
2. To provide advice on important matters under consideration by the Executive Board.
3. To help USDF improve cooperation and communication within the national dressage community to better serve the sport.
4. To provide advice to improve USDF's programs and services for all levels and all segments of the sport. (Such programs and services are expected to complement those provided by other national organizations.)

Objectives

1. To provide advice on USDF's role in and relationship to USEF.
2. To provide advice on the role of the USDF National Education Center at the Kentucky Horse Park.
3. To recommend improvements to USDF's services for high-performance riders.
4. To provide advice on USDF information technology initiatives.
5. To provide advice on USDF's role with respect to USEF in such areas as competition recognition, competition results, educational programs, and training of officials.
